it was near the railway ststion
The Hotel reception staff tried very hard to help us with the difficulties we experienced whilst staying at the hotel. The hotel is very near the station and so very convenient if you wish to use the hotel as a base to travel around a number of places nearby.
The hotel was not really in a nice area. It was a noticeably down market area near to the station and was not very pleasant walking back to our hotel at the end of an evening. It was very dirty and lots of tramps around. The hotel is very small. You can see that they have tried to improve the hotel but is still left lacking. The room we were originally shown to was terrible and we had to be asked to be moved. The rooms are very small and don't feel very clean. The breakfast staff were most rude to my family and I asking us to leave as they had closed and despite the fact that we were half way through our breakfast!
location is good, room is clean, bathroom is big.
bed is small, hard to contain two people.
Very helpful & friendly staff, excellent value & range of choice for breakfast
Clean, friendly, close to the railwaystation...
The staff were helpful and it's in a good location, next to the train and tram station. Walking distance down the shopping belt and many restaurants around.
A bit noisy due to next slight thin wall.
Near the train station, very convenient. Price is reasonable.
Breakfast was expensive - 12 Euros per day (and not 9 Euros as advertised in Booked.net). Nearby cafes only cost 5.5 Euros for continental breakfast and 8 Euros for English breakfast. The first room I was given faced the rail track which was very noisy. I demanded a room change and got a quiet room and the bathroom had a bathtub.
Close to railway station and tram stop. Nice little bar 100 metres down the road. Friendly & helpful staff who are happy to advise on locations/directions etc.
A little dated perhaps, and the lift is very very slow. Breakfast too expensive for what was supplied.
The room was dirty when i arrived. It even had a bag of cheerios on the floor....and plenty of hairs in the floor of the bathroom. Never again
Very friendly staff, facilities for making tea/coffee in the room, fresh towels, comfortable bed, flatscreen tv, central location near the central station, airconditioning, relatively quiet even though the motorway was so close
Room was very small, one could hardly walk around the bed; no room for unpacking/storing clothes, no shelves in the closet; bathroom was a bit smelly due to mouldy shower
Hotel was very basic, had no shower curtain so water went everywhere while showering, Had a safe in room but was wasnt bolted down so anyone could walk away with it as it was small and light, basic hotel when on a budet but we wouldnt stay there again.
Our friends that stayed with us didnt get toilet paper and had to keep asking and the tea and coffee had also to be asked for
great location inside the city center, and the well designed rooms
night staff not very friendly, and they didnt have any bottle openers in the all hotel also the view on the railways with 25 trains going per hour very noisy
This hotel is very easy to reach from the airport by the direct bus line 99. Right outside the hotel you have a street with a lot of shops and you can reach the beach or the old town with the tram.
The breakfast is a bit expencive
The hotel is located directly on the train line, just a block away from the train station. In spite of this, we had no problem with train noise. There is air conditioning, which was welcome during the heat wave in France at the time. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we were able to store our luggage while we went to the Chagall museum.
The only drawback to the stay was that breakfast was an additional charge.
I liked the central location of this hotel, wifi facility is also very good, public transport is easily accessible
